Our goal here is for all players to have a relaxing experience playing trivia. It's meant to be FUN! Feel free to chat with your fellow players. It doesn't hurt to type in a gj (good job) or a wd (well done) when someone gets a correct answer. Relax, and enjoy yourself.

Any of the ops or regular players will be happy to help you with any questions or problems relating to the channel.

There are over 100,000 questions in our database. We're always looking for new "original" questions, so think about contributing. Also, we want to correct errors, so message the bot with the question number, the error and the right answer, if known.

Game Updates March 2014

We've been running the game with the same set of rules for quite some time now and have decided that it was time to review them.

The change, although minor, will hopefully go some way to 'leveling the playing field' for all players.

After 2 monthly wins in a row, a player will be ineligible for bonuses for one month.

Bonus Pot
There is an hourly bonus awarded to a random player who guesses a question correctly. It is a pot of points that incrementally gets bigger during the hour, to a maximum of 1000 points. The timing and awarding of the bonus pot is entirely decided by luck and no one can control when it awards or who gets it.

MegaBonus Day
Occasionally we run a surprise 24-hour MegaBonus. Instead of the 100 points for 3 questions in a row guessed correctly, the person who answers correctly will receive 300 points. Sometimes the 24 hours coincides with a holiday or a birthday, but not always. Sometimes there may be no reason at all. :)

Everyone has their own program and scripts, but our channel "shows up" the best if you have your background set to Black. Dark Grey works pretty well, also.
